How long is the commitment of an Ambassador? If chosen, you will be an active member of the team for 3 months. After that, you are welcome to continue to contribute voluntarily. We will be accepting a new ambassador every 3 months with a total of 4 ambassadors per year.
Will I get paid? We are unable to compensate monetarily, however, each Ambassador will receive a Rochacha Mama T-shirt and bumper sticker upon joining as a "Thank You". During the 3 month period, the Ambassador can also earn points to earn one free family photo session by Roc Mama Photography at the end of their term. Ambassadors also earn a permanent spot on the website, citing their contributions.
How are "points" earned? Visiting new/unlisted playgrounds, libraries, open gyms, etc is one easy way to earn points. Points can also be earned at home by finding website errors and confirming "Kids Eat Free" locations. Points can be earned faster through larger projects such as blog posts, Instagram takeovers or spearheading a project!
What do I need to be considered? You will need access to Internet and web browser for communication and receiving/sharing content. You will also need access to a camera or smartphone that has the ability to take quality photos. Applicants should also be aware that there is a time commitment involved with the Ambassador Program and be willing to give some time to explore the city with the kids and upload content. Lastly, upon being accepted, you will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.
How are applicants chosen? Applicants will be reviewed by the Rochacha Mama team and chosen based on survey responses. Location and age of children will also be taken into consideration based on the needs of Rochacha Mama at any given time.
