We started our donut journey back in late winter, but we wanted to hold off and share it with you on this special day... National Donut Day!! Here are the Donut Shops unique to the Rochester Area Ridge Donut Cafe1600 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14621 Who hasn’t heard of Ridge Donuts!? They live up to all the hype and truly are so delicious! They also have sourdoughs donuts (which are my favorite), breakfast sandwiches, and even lunch items! They have booths and high chairs to enjoy your donuts there! The price is $7.99 for a half dozen donuts. Misfit Doughnuts and Treats133 Gregory St, Rochester, NY 14620 Misfit is a vegan donut option. The donuts were delicious! They are a heavier donut but you would never be able to tell they are vegan with all the flavor packed in there. They also have a plethora of vegan choices for your coffee creamer. This donut shop did not have high chairs when we visited but were told they are on the shopping list! They have fun stickers you can purchase for $2. Everyone should check them out! (Street parking only) Donuts Delight 1700 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14609 The atmosphere here is so old school, I love it! There is a Salvatore’s pizza within the building. The donuts are always decorated to perfection and delicious. They also do custom number donuts and cakes for birthdays. They have high chairs and are reasonably priced! Photos Courtesy of Donuts Delite Boxcar Donuts127 Railroad St #120, Rochester, NY 14609 Boxcar has three categories of donuts: First class ($4), Executive ($3), and Coach ($2). They are a little on the expensive side but totally worth the price. The donuts are nice and doughy and they are not shy with the “toppings”. Boxcar also has a full menu and bar. I recommend the Chicken and Waffle sticks! They do have high chairs perfect for your little ones and even have little dinosaurs hidden around the restaurant to find! There is free parking across the street with a code. Let us know what you think! By Stephanie |
