Sit back and relax a little with these fenced in playgrounds. Our definition of "fenced in" here is one that kids cannot easily escape from (crawl over or under) and fully surrounds the playground. Some of these have a locked gate while others have an open entrance.
3 Vince Tofany Blvd, Greece, NY 14612
This playground is located behind the Greece Recreation Center and walking distance from the library. With the structures and set up of this playground no child would ever want to escape! But nonetheless, this playground is fully fenced in and gated with a latch!
Perinton Community Center
1350 Turk Hill Rd, Fairport, NY 14450
Though this playground may seems exclusive with it being fully gated with a child-proof latch, it is open to the public! This playground is part of the Perinton Community Center so it may be in use by the programs there. However, there is plenty to do within the rec center and another playground (not fenced in but well removed from the parking lot and street) just down the road!

Rudman Rd, Irondequoit, NY 14622
This small park in Irondequoit contains a playground and open field. The playground is fully fenced in except for a small gap for the entrance. There is no gate. During our visit, part of the fence was broken exposing the open field, but still safe from the busy road.
Barry Street Park
56 Barry St, Brockport, NY 14420
Barry Park is a large playground amongst a brockport neighborhood. The entire playground is fenced in except for a fairly large opening by the parking lot for the entrance and one other opening at the back to access the sidewalk. This park is almost entirely fenced in (minus the entrance). There are two large play structures, perfect for toddlers-pre teens! This park does not seem to have a lot of traffic so it's a great place to let the kids run wild. Street parking only!
7 West Ave, Manchester, NY 14504
Westplex Park is fairly large and fully fenced in and gated! Though the gate has a latch, it is easy to manage by young kids. However, the fenced in area is so spacious the kids won't even feel gated in. The playground is large with lots to do and there are baseball fields and wide open spaces for the kids to run around safely within the fenced in area. Just be warned, the fenced in area is so large it may still be easy to lose sight of your kiddo, but at least you will know they haven't gone too far! No pets allowed!
