Pros: This park is nestled up against the canal and surrounding canal trails. The playground itself was established in 2017, and is in excellent condition. Sporting four large slides, a tunnel, rock like stairs, a swing set and teeter totter this playground is a huge hit. Ground cover is a rubber material and great for little ones. East of the parking lot there is even a short story time trail! The playground has no shade coverage, but there is a large pavilion with amble picnic tables, and a few grills down by the dock. This is the perfect park to enjoy fishing, a walk, and even a picnic! Free library on site and low traffic.
Cons: The parking lot is small, and playground does hug the road a bit. There is a large set of swings, but no infant/toddler swing. There was a bathroom onsite, but it was locked. |
