CAFÉS

MIGHTEA BOBA
3225 State Rt.364, Suite 65 Canandaigua, NY 14424
Our Experience: We visited the Mightea Boba after hearing it was right across the street from Kidztown in Canandaigua. This was our first Bubble Tea Experience and we are hooked! In this cafe, you will find brightly colored furniture (some available for purchase), fun spinny chairs, and a kids corner with a chalkboard and coloring book. There's also a charging station for phones and devices! There is a wide variety of food and drink available as well as Hershey's Ice Cream. Everything about this place, from the drinks to the decor to the furniture, just screams fun!
PURE IMAGINATION CAFE
2997 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624
Our Experience: We visited the cafe on its second day of being opened. The space was bright and welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful. In the back is a fairly expansive kid area jam-packed with toys for a wide variety of ages. In this section you can find anything from baby toys to board games. I had the perfect latte and my children had a tasty treat from the expansive kid's menu. Not to mention, the private bathrooms are spacious enough to fit all the kids in for a diaper change! All this make Pure Imagination Cafe the perfect space to meet a mom friend, go on a date or catch up on some work while the kids are in tow.
NEW ROOTS CAFE
1273 Long Pond Rd, Greece, NY 14626
Our Experience: I brought my daughter to New Roots for a mommy daughter date and would definitely return with the family! Being on a gluten free diet, I appreciated the cafe's heightened awareness to allergies. The entire cafe is nut-free in order to create a safe place to dine for those with nut allergies. There is a chess board, board games for a variety of ages and a coloring station within the cafe. The community sketchbooks from each year is entertaining to fill out and flip through for the whole family. Along with indoor and outdoor seating, the Cafe is right next to Carter Park so there is a nicely shaded playground (with baby swings) right in the backyard! As this cafe is housed with Aria's School of Music, there is often live performances by both student and professional musicians.
TREE TOWN CAFE
745 Penfield Rd, Rochester, NY 14625
Our Experience: We visited Tree Town Cafe on a sunny July morning and were taken back by the surprises around every corner. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the stock of wonderful items made locally surrounding the cafe. A deeper look and we found so many options for kids including an entire menu and an adorable kitchen set tucked in the corner for them to play with. There is also a shelf full of candy; Kids can grab a bag and fill with inexpensive treats. The real gem was found when we meandered outside to find a kiddie slide and a toy chest full of outdoor toys. My family spent the morning sipping coffee and juice while playing and blowing bubbles just outside the cafe.
It should be noted, there is not a public restroom on the premises.
FAIRPOUR CAFÉ
6 N Main St #125, Fairport, NY 14450
Our Experience: Our first visit to Fairpour was spontaneous and wonderful! My husband got a craft beer and I got a delicious latte. There was a pile of board games (including candy land!) and the staff was super kid friendly! The cafe was well lit and not over stimulating. My husband and I were able to sit back and relax with our drinks on the couch while the three year old played with his toy cars on the coffee table and enjoyed his muffin and locally made apple cider.

On another occasion I met a group of fellow mom-friends with their toddlers and babies at FairPour after a visit to the Fairport Library. It was an quick walk to the cafe from the library, (ramp for strollers on the side of building). The kids played board games while we sipped on our much needed coffee and crammed the kids full of muffins.
LAUGHING GULL CHOCOLATES
1868 E Main St, Rochester, NY 14609
Our Experience: The hours and environment of Laughing Gull make it my go-to spot when suggesting a meeting area with fellow business moms who have young kids in tow. After grabbing a truffle or speciality drink, customers and their kiddos can head into a gated area with a matted play area and toys. There are couches and chairs and a table to chat with friends or colleagues while the kids play.
POP ROC
337 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14604
Our Experience: We went to Pop Roc for breakfast early on a Monday Morning. My son was excited to dress up as Batman for the outing (which meant wearing pajamas) and he was warmly welcomed! When it comes to breakfast, there is a plethora of unique cereal and coffee options.
The Best part- Off the main room is more seating along with several board games and a toy chest full of action figures! This area kept the kids occupied for over an hour while we got in some much needed adult conversation.
Free parking can be found in the back after retrieving a parking pass from inside Pop Roc.
GOURMET GOODIES
75 Coville St, Victor, NY 14564
Our Experience: While this Cafe/Bakery does not have any specific games or activities (or a changing table) for the little ones, it does have an enclosed outdoor patio making this a fun spot for the kids to explore while the adults chat when the Rochester weather allows. The patio has a small pond full of frogs which can be fun for the kids to watch if they can be trusted around open water. During our visit, there were plenty of kids running around this outdoor area and the staff were extremely welcoming and kind to the kiddos.

WINERIES

JD WINE CELLARS
1339 Eddy Rd, Macedon, NY 14502
Our Experience: JD Wine Cellars is part of Long Acre Farms which has a market, ice cream shop and a courtyard in the back with lots of free fun for the kids. The winery itself has a little kids corner that invites kids to sit and color while mom and dad sip on local wine and craft beer. Grape juice is also available for the kids. The winery is open April 1st – December 31st.
We experienced Long Acre Farms and JD Wine Cellars for the first time as a family during their bi-weekly "Music on the Lawn" event over the summer. This event is very well attended, and for good reason! Wine, beer, food and ice cream are available for purchase while live music fills the courtyard where the children run and play!

BREWERIES

BRINDLE HAUS BREWING
377 S Union St, Spencerport, NY 14559
Our Experience: Our first visit to Brindle Haus included one dog, a toddler and two babies. We weren't alone! The place was packed with dogs and babies! It truly made for a welcoming atmosphere when meeting with friends and family without having to worry about finding care for the kids and dog. The atmosphere is lively and laid back so a crying baby or barking dog didn't turn any heads. Within the kid's corner is a a chalkboard and table for coloring. Aside from the free popcorn, pretzels and cheese balls can be purchased for snacking.
K2 BROTHERS BREWING
1221 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609
Our Experience: We ended up at K2 as it is one of the few breweries open during weekdays, making this a great stop for the family on a day off. If bringing the kids, it is recommended to go on a sunny day and head straight to the outdoor space in the back. There, you will find lawn games including a giant game of connect four! Also in this outdoor space are two fire pits and occasional live music. Aside from their craft beer, K2 has a full kitchen and soda flights. Come winter, K2 has a heated tent over the back patio area allowing the kid-friendly fun to continue.
ROHRBACH BREWING COMPANY
3859 Buffalo Rd, Rochester NY 14624
The brewpub is very family friendly with plenty of high chairs and booths to go around as well as a changing table in the bathroom. Kids 10 and under eat free on Sundays with the purchase of an adult entree. While you tame your wild thing(s) and try to enjoy a meal at the same time it is comforting to look around to see the smiles and the "we're in this together" nods from fellow patrons.

CIDERIES

BLUE BARN CIDERY
928 Manitou Rd, Hilton, NY 14468
Our Experience: We (Mike, Trey Man, and myself Stephanie) went to the Oktoberfest at Blue Barn Cidery. We went Apple picking and checked out the corn maze. The fry cakes were warm and fresh. They had two food trucks and served food there so there were a lot of options. There’s a big outdoor space for the kids to run around, connect four, and corn hole. They also have outdoor heaters to keep it warm.

RESTAURANTS

SCHOONERS RIVERSIDE PUB
Open Seasonally
40 Marina Dr, Rochester, NY 146174
Our Experience: Knowing how busy it gets, we went to Schooners right when they opened at 11:00 AM on a Monday. Sure enough, we were one of the first to arrive and the kids got to enjoy the sand area to themselves as we waited for our food. The waitress sat us at a table outside, in the shade on the upper half, which was only a few steps away from the deck overlooking the enclosed sand area right below. The crowd picked up as it reached noon, but the environment was very friendly and relaxed. We stayed to play in the sand a bit longer when we were done eating and didn't feel rushed to leave at all.
SWILLBURGER
 820 S Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14620
Our Experience: We took the kids to Swillburger on my birthday. I got a cocktail and some delicious gluten free tots. The kid didn't want to leave and was especially attracted to the gumball machine and racing game! We will definitely be coming back as our kids get older.
RADIO SOCIAL
20 Carlson Rd, Rochester, NY 14610
Our Experience: There is a lot going on at Radio Social that aids in making the experience an enjoyable one for all. The atmosphere is very family friendly and there are activities kids can partake in for free (Cornhole & Jenga). Be sure to get there an hour before closing (or book online), even a few minutes late and you can't reserve a lane!
HARRY G'S DELI & CAFE
678 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620
Our Experience: We stopped by Harry G's after strolling the South Wedge. Harry G's is conveniently located near Hedonist Artisan Ice Cream, Hipocampo Children's Books, Little Button Craft and Press, Small Fry Art Studio and Coffee Connection Roastery and Cafe making this a fun stop during a day full of kid-friendly fun! Harry G's has an extensive menu with many gluten free options, craft beer and cider, and a kid's menu. As we waited for our food, we sat on a comfy bench while I taught my 3 year old how to play mancala! Next to this game station is a whole shelf full of board games reaching a variety of ages and abilities. The staff was friendly and welcoming to my young kids and the atmosphere was very pleasant during our daytime visit. We will definitely be going back!
HIBACHI
Plum Garden, Umi Japanese Steakhouse, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar, Sakura Home
Hibachi is more than a style of dining; it is an experience! At Hibachi restaurants the cooking of meat, vegetable and seafood dishes is done on a high-heat, metal cooking plate right in front of you (often scattered with tricks and entertainment). Each time we go, the kids have a blast and remain in their seats for the entirety of the meal! Just note, some younger kids may be startled by the loud noises and large flames.
