The trails are easy to walk and enjoyable for kids. There is a beautiful board walk along the trail as well as a large observation platform for bird watching.
Cons: With beautiful scenery and its preservations of the area's natural resources, This isn't the park you would go to for just a visit to the playground, as there isn't much to offer in that area. |

Pros: Greece Canal Park features two playgrounds, a dog park, year round hiking and a Canal Path. The larger playground is great for younger children.

Description: There is a second playground at Greece Canal Park that is hidden away! It is smaller and than the other playground and probably more appropriate for older kids but the kids (ages 2-5) had a great time. It's a great spot to picnic and walk along the canal. The canal path is wheelchair and stroller friendly!
Notes: Use "Rotary Lodge, Greece Canal Park" in GPS to find this playground. There are picnic tables throughout the park but none close to this playground- pack a blanket to picnic! There is also a dog park nearby. |

What We Love: We love the uniqueness of the playground at Kids Canyon. Climbing on giant fish, frogs and bear really activate the imagination! We also love that it is within walking distance to the recreation center and Library!
|
Pros: This playground/splash pad combo is geared toward younger children and will surely activate the imagination with its outdoor/animal theme. With large fish, beavers and bears to climb on along with a variety of swing types, the playground is suitable for a range of needs and abilities. The play area is fenced in, nicely padded and very clean and well kept. There are plenty of picnic tables outside of the playground area. Also nearby is a story trail and outdoor workout equipment! This playground is within walking distance of the Greece Community Center and Library. Bring a lunch and have a full day of fun!
Cons: Though the splash pad is free for Greece residents, it costs $5 per child per day for non residents. The playground is free and fenced in but directly adjacent to splash pad. Therefore, warn your child if you do not plan on spending the $5 as it is definitely a tempting site! There are not many opportunities for shade. |

Pros: Sawyer Park is the perfect place to go to get your nature fix. With trails, a creek for wading, and a picnic area and playground surrounded by trees, this park is sure to connect you to nature. A disc golf course can also be spotted throughout the woods. The park has two playgrounds, though spaced very far apart, and a beautiful picnic area perfect for family gatherings and parties.
Cons: The park is very secluded and not heavily populated. Therefore, it is best to be enjoyed with a group. Notes: Take road all the way back for pavilion, grills, creek, and hiking. The second playground can be found closer to the entrance, behind the church. If walking from one playground to the next, a foot bridge can be found behind the baseball field that connects the two playgrounds. |
