TOWN OF HONEOYE

HONEOYE COMMUNITY PLAYGROUND

8568 E Main St Honeoye, New York 14471
Description: One of the few remaining wooden playgrounds! This playground is adjacent to the Honeoye School Building, just minutes from the beach! ⁣Though this playground is mainly in direct sun, the metal slides where shaded so they were not super hot when we visited.⁣ There are lots of slides, tires to balance on and regular swings. A great playground for hide and seek!
Notes: Although this is called a community playground, it is located at the Honeoye School and therefore only accessible when school is out.  A driveway for the parking lot can be found off of Main St.

SANDY BOTTOM BEACH

Jack Evans Dr. Honeoye, New York 14471
Description: There is a small playground right off of the beach at Sandy Bottom Park. The playground is a safe distance from the water but close enough to run back and forth. There are picnic tables nearby so be sure to pack a lunch!
Notes: Sandy Bottom Park is located at the north end of Honeoye Lake, off County Road 36 (West Lake Road). Walking trails can also be accessed on Main Street and at the north end of East Lake Road. Check website or call to ensure beach isn't closed due to water quality.
