Pros: This is a loved neighborhood playground which I would personally call a micro playground. It was fascinating to find this gem nestled amongst houses along the street.
Cons: On street parking only and no public restrooms. |
Hoffman Street &, E Maple Ave, Newark, NY 14513

Pros: This is a cute park tucked away down a quiet street. The equipment is well maintained and in good working condition. The park also has nice tree coverage to get some respite from the sun. There are also baseball fields and pavilion are available for use on site.
Cons: There were no open bathrooms to use and the park is fairly close to the road so you will have to keep a watchful eye out if you are looking after multiple children at the same time. |

Pros: The simplistic approach to this hideaway park is the beauty of the natural surroundings. There is a path that leads straight to a boat launch and a pavilion to relax and let the kids play. Be on the lookout for the bison that roam the area!
Cons: The playground is geared more towards older kids and there are no swings at this location. |
Lillie St. Newark, NY 14513
|
Pros: This is a fantastic park which is enjoyed by many families. Many different ages of children can enjoy this park at the same time. There are swings, a large open area (bring a ball to kick around!) and baseball fields along with a pavilion close by.
Notes: If you look up the address listed on the town page it will bring you to the opposite side of the park and you will need to walk quite a distance to get to the playground. If you google Lillie Street the parking lot is the dead end of the street. |
