Description: This state park delivers picturesque views of Cayuga Lake! With a pirate ship themed playground structure kids imagination will be off and running. There are two playground structures, One is for kids in the 5 to 12 age range. It offers different climbing challenges, slides, and activity panels. The playground suitable for toddlers provides fun telescopes, slides and size appropriate climbers. There are multiple baby swings, and double saucer swings as well. With a seasonal swimming beach, picnic tables, grills, and a fishing dock this is a one stop shop. You will love the shaded walking trail that runs along the park, It is perfect for strollers.
Notes: There are multiple parking areas, I found the one a cross the street (near the camping entrance) to be nearest the playground. Bathhouse on site. Cost: Seasonal fee |
KID'S TERRITORY PARK

Description: Here is a fantastic (shaded!) place for kids of all ages to explore! They have two different size playgrounds, amphitheater for your budding actor, story walk, ball field and plenty of space to run around!

VINCE'S PARK

Description: This park offers not only an adorable little playground, but also an outdoor pool, two softball fields, two picnic shelters, and even an enclosed pavilion. This is a great place to bring a picnic and let the kids get some energy out. It is located only 10 minutes from the Waterloo Outlet Mall!
Notes: The pool is available seasonally at a fee, and all pavilions are available at a rental cost. I did not find any bathrooms onsite. |
