Pros: This is a large playground and lots of room to run around.  There are Basketball and Tennis courts near the playground with easy access to both.  There is also a great hill for sledding in the winter time.  
Cons: This playground is geared towards older children, younger kids would have difficulty getting up on some of the equipment themselves.  The equipment in this park is older but still fun and functional.  The only bathrooms are across the street and they are outhouses. 
Notes: There is a brand new fenced in dog park and plenty of picnic tables. Have some lunch and walk along the river.
