Pros: Northampton Park is a Monroe County Park that encomapasses Springdale Farm. The playground near Springdale Farm is the first thing you see upon entering the parking lot but there is so much more! The playground itself features regular and baby swings, a bulldozer and car spring ride-on, and your faithful slides, tunnels and bridges. Venture further during farm hours to find a variety of animals, sandbox in the greenhouse, a petting zoo ($1 per person 2+), fairy houses and much more! There is also a sledding hill at Northampton Park off of Hubbell Rd. Check the map for more info.
Cons: The playground is simple and not handicap accessible. Notes: The Petting Zoo is open Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. More on Springdale Farm Here. Dogs are allowed at Northampton Park but not within Springdale Farm. |

Pros: The highlight of Pineway Ponds Park is its splash pad and playground with a padded surface. The park also includes baseball, softball, soccer, football, and lacrosse fields, a squash court and basketball ball courts. The Playground is new as of Summer 2019.
Cons: This park is often known to be frequented by older, unattended children, making for an unfriendly and crowded atmosphere at times. Bathrooms could use further maintenance. |
