TOWN OF WOLCOTT

WOLCOTT FALLS PARK

1 Mill St Wolcott, NY 14590
Description: Known for its easily accessible 50 foot waterfall, this park is a little gem located in the heart of Wolcott. The trail is roughly 0.1 mile long with low traffic. Along with a short trail, there is also playground equipment. Located back in the eastern corner of the park, you will find an older metal and wooden slide and hanging bars. There is also a large playground and sandbox/water table in this section. The colorful playground is best suited for kids under five years old. The park also offers a pavilion with multiple picnic tables. This park is completely shaded and tucked away from the road. Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed.
Notes: The park itself is not well maintained. Glass and trash were found near the pavilion. There were no restrooms as well. The sandbox and water tables were not in usable condition. The wooden structure does not seem to be sound. Please use caution when allowing children to use. Park goers are unable to see the waterfall from the over look deck, due to tree overgrowth. Please note the waterfall is completely dry due to lack of rain. (As of August 2020)
